Open House/Information Session

Interested in learning more about UNT ELEVAR and ready to tour the campus? We invite you to attend one of our Open Houses and complete a traditional UNT Campus Tour (in person). Campus tours are a great way to learn about the full UNT experience as our students will be fully included in all college campus activities!

***Please note that our Open Houses will be conducted both in person and virtually unless otherwise specified. ***

Locations will be sent via email a few days prior to the Open House. Parking is available across from the Welcome Center in the Highland Street Parking Garage. UNT ELEVAR Transition Pathway Virtual Education

Professional Development Series (Spring 2024)

Tuesday, April 16th 4:00–5:00 PM CT
This professional development series will be provided for teachers, specialists, paraprofessionals, and other educators that support students with ID as they enhance their transition, self-determination, and employment-related skills. All educators will receive CPE Hours. Registration links for the following PD events will be released on our social media accounts. 

UNT ELEVAR Transition Pathway Summer Institute for Educators 

July 10–11, 2024

The institute will facilitate the learning of evidence-based practices related to transition services for students with ID. This professional development opportunity will be provided for teachers, specialists, paraprofessionals, and other educators that support students with ID as they enhance their transition and employment-related skills. All educators will receive CPE Hours. Registration will open May 2024

UNT ELEVAR Transition Pathway Virtual Summer Program for Students

July 15–19, 2024

The Transition Pathway summer program for students focuses on teaching participants independent, pre-employment skills, and self-determination skills in the areas of living, working, and engaging in the community. Priority of enrollment will be given to current students in the Transition Pathway program in one of our four partner school districts. Registration will open May 2024
